Aphrometers

Equipment designed to measure the pressure (or vacuum) inside beverage bottles with cork stoppers (wine, champagne...).

It consists of a 75 mm. long reinforced stainless steel needle and a diameter of 2 mm., side-perforated and connected to a pressure gauge of the desired scale. It can also be supplied with a protective rubber for the pressure gauge.

You can choose the pressure range among the following ones: -1+1.5 bar, -1+3 bar, -1+5 bar, 0-4 bar, 0-6 bar, 0-10 bar or others.

Intensive use is only recommended for wine bottles; for champagne bottles we recommend using them only occasionally, since the cork is much more compacted. We recommend other types of aphrometers for that purpose.
